H.E. HUN MANY, President of the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia received a courtesy call on July 30th, 2015 at the UYFC Central Office, paid by 11 Cambodia youth delegates who will represent the Kingdom of Cambodia to the 3rd ASEAN-China Youth Cultural Exchange Festival 2015.

With a great opportunity given by the Royal Government of Cambodia through the Office of the Council of Ministers and Cambodia-China Friendship Association (CCFA), 11 youth delegates – comprised of a representative from UYFC and a representative from CCFA together with 9 art-talented youngsters, aged from 12 – 18, who got selected through an intensive process of interview – will begin their journey to the festival, which will be held from July 31st to August 5th, 2015 at Changzu City, Jiangsu, People’s Republic of China.

In the name of youth delegates representing the Kingdom of Cambodia to international stage, H.E. HUN MANY advised the 11 youths to be confident on their ability, flexible, punctual and especially patient to keep their team spirit alive showing strength and solidarity that Cambodian youths have. Furthermore, His Excellency also encouraged the delegates to try the best and put utmost efforts in bringing glorious civilization and pride of Cambodia to the world and make their voices heard. This program is a good platform for Cambodian youths to learn and experience the diversity of ASEAN and Chinese cultures.

ASEAN-China Youth Cultural Exchange Festival is a program organized by China-ASEAN Association in order to promote friendship and mutual understanding among adolescences from China and the 10 ASEAN countries through various cultural exchange activities. And this year marks the 3rd anniversary of this international event.
